Research Data Repositories
As a researcher, depositing your data in a repository can increase exposure and collaboration for your research and data. Sharing data also helps researchers meet funding agency and publisher requirements, encourages transparency, enables reproducibility of research results, and reduces the redundancy of data production in research.
Numerous organizations provide multidisciplinary, subject-based repositories to researchers worldwide, and the Drexel Libraries offers services to help you identify a repository for your data.
Below are links to several resources to help you get started:
- Re3data.org: Re3data.org is a global registry of research data repositories that can help you find repositories that are relevant to your research.
- Research Data Repositories Guide: The Research Data Repositories Guide provides additional information for finding repositories, as well as descriptions of some popular multipurpose data repositories.
- Drexel Research Discovery provides access to research and scholarly outputs created by Drexel University faculty, staff and students, including theses & dissertations, journal articles, conference papers and proceedings, posters and research data. For more information about depositing datasets in Drexel Research Dsicovery, contact the Drexel University Archives staff.
