Drexel Libraries Launches New Course Reserve System

March 28, 2024

The Drexel Libraries launched a new online course reserves management tool this term that makes creating, accessing and managing course reserve lists easier and more efficient.

The new system, called Drexel Libraries Course Reserves (aka vendor name Leganto), integrates with both the Libraries’ catalog and Blackboard Learn, making it easy for instructors to select resource materials of all types and compile them into one structured, comprehensive reading list.

With Drexel Libraries Course Reserves, instructors can build reading lists that include books and articles provided by the Drexel Libraries, as well as videos, web resources, news articles, open educational resources and more. Plus, the tool utilizes modern webs design and is more mobile-friendly than the previous system (Ares).
