Resource List: HIV/AIDS, Public Health & Health Equity

February 9, 2024

The curated collection of resources below delves into the multifaceted narrative of the HIV/AIDS pandemic, including historical insights, public health perspectives, and personal stories. These resources address many different themes related to health and health equity and ultimately aim to deepen your understanding of this global health challenge.

We created this collection to accompany the National Library of Medicine exhibit, AIDS, Posters, and Stories of Public Health: A People's History of a Pandemic, currently on display in the lobby of Drexel’s Health Sciences Building. Just as the exhibit illuminates diverse responses to the AIDS pandemic, this resource list aims to help you understand, reflect on and learn from this pivotal time in our history. We hope these resources will also help raise awareness about the ongoing challenges posed by HIV/AIDS and inspire action to address them.
