This summer, the Drexel University Libraries, in partnership with the College of Medicine, will begin renovations on the Queen Lane Library. The Library facility will not be accessible during the renovation period, which will begin on June 3, 2019. The Library is scheduled to reopen on August 5, 2019.

This renovation directly addresses student feedback for improvements in the space, critical to a successful accreditation report. Repairs planned for the space include new paint and new carpeting. We also will remove books from the open stack area to provide a new reading area for students, faculty and staff.

All students, faculty and staff from the Drexel University College of Medicine will continue to have access to Drexel’s other library locations, as well as 24/7 access to the Libraries’ online resources and interlibrary loan and reserves services.
