February 9, 2016
ICPSR Summer Program Opportunities Among the benefits of Drexel's membership in ICPSR [Interuniversity Consortium for Political and Social Research], funded by the Office of Research for this year, is discounted registration to attend outstanding training and research immersion opportunities using a variety of data and analytic methods.
The 2016 ICPSR Summer Program offers training to faculty, students, and researchers on quantitative methods across the social, behavioral, and medical sciences. Trainings are provided in four week sessions or 3-5 days workshops and are held primarily at the University of Michigan campus. The four week sessions are offered June 20-July 15 (Session 1) or July 18-August 12 (Session 2). The three-five workshops are offered May - August and are held in Ann Arbor, Chapel Hill, New York, and Berkeley. Registration is required for the 3-5 day workshops and opens Monday February 8, 2016.
The full schedule is now available for review.
ICPSR also offers competitive scholarships for graduate students and assistant professors to help cover the costs of the workshops. Scholarships targeting researchers from the fields of political science, sociology, quantitative history, education, developmental psychology, and public administration are highlighted.
