Ready to go beyond reading books and articles about archives? Eager to get your hands dirty with genuine historical dust? Want to see how Archivists' Toolkit works? Join the Drexel University Archives and DU College of Medicine Archives for a hands-on archives processing workshop at Hagerty Library on Thursday, July 22, 2010, from 9-5. Archives staff will teach you the basics of archival processing and then we'll work together to arrange and describe a previously unprocessed collection. To cover the cost of a light breakfast and pizza lunch, a donation of is requested, for Drexel students/faculty/staff. Anyone with an interest in archives is invited; no prior experience is required.
