Find Your Study Space in the W. W. Hagerty Library
Whether you are working on a group project, studying on your own, or just looking for a quiet place to focus, the Drexel Libraries has a spot for you. Stop in and find your new favorite study space that works best for you and your study style.
Collaborative Study Spaces
Working on a group project or planning to study with friends? The W. W. Hagerty Library has over 20 group study rooms that can accommodate up to 12 people. Reserve a group study room for up to 3 hours at a time. All group study rooms have wall-mounted monitors so you can connect your devices and view projects on screen. Reserve a group study room.
The Dragons’ Learning Den and the long tables on the lower level are also great options if you’re looking for a spot for group work and connecting with friends.
Silent Study Areas
Need silence and minimal distractions to focus? The W.W. Hagerty Library has two designated silent study zones, one on the lower level and another on the second floor. Talking and group work isn’t allowed in these areas, and cell phones should be turned off or set to silent. Reserve an individual seat in one of the silent study rooms in advance.
Quiet Zone
If you’re looking for a quiet place to study but without the need for complete silence, head to the quiet zones on the first and second floors of the Library. Quiet zones are for low talking and quiet conversations while still offering an environment for focused studying. These spaces are good options if you want to work independently but need to chat quietly with a friend. When working in the quiet zones, be mindful of others by keeping devices and conversations at an appropriate level.
Open 24/7
Calling all night owls! The main part of the Library closes at midnight most nights, but the Dragons’ Learning Den is open 24/7. The Den is a collaborative area and it can get a little loud. The Den offers a variety of seating options, including booths and tables, plus dry erase boards, the Serenity Suite wellness room, and our laptop and portable charger kiosks. After the main library closes, use your Dragon Card to enter using the doors closest to Ludlow Street.
