New Exhibit Celebrates 100 Years of Drexel's Student Newspaper
On February 1, 2026, The Triangle, Drexel’s student-run newspaper, celebrates 100 years of publication.
To mark this important milestone in the paper’s history, the Drexel University Archives is excited to announce a two-part exhibit, “Celebrating a Century of The Triangle: 1926 to 2026.”
Part One of the exhibit features historical issues of The Triangle from the last 100 years, which are now on display outside the University Archives’ Reading Room on the lower level of the W. W. Hagerty Library.
Part Two of the exhibit will include a larger, more comprehensive display that walks visitors through a century of campus and local events and showcases the evolution of the paper from 1926 to today. Part Two of the exhibit will open later this spring.
Staff from the University Archives and the Drexel Libraries are working with current newspaper staffers and members of The Triangle Alumni Advisory Board to curate the exhibit, which demonstrates the value of the paper and the student perspective on major events that impacted the Drexel community.
Stop by the W. W. Hagerty Library to explore Part One of the exhibit. Stay tuned for even more great historical content when Part Two opens later this spring.
You can also view an (almost) complete run of issues of The Triangle online in the University Archives’ digital collection platform.
