Service Updates for Elkins Park Campus Faculty & Staff

Now that the Drexel/Salus merger is complete, our staff are working to fully integrate all Elkins Park-based library systems and resources into the Drexel Libraries’ workflows.

The information below outlines some of the exciting changes we’re implementing for faculty and staff based at Drexel’s Elkins Park Campus.

New Services for the Elkins Park Campus Community

  • Course reserves: Leganto is now available to faculty and staff at the Elkins Park Campus. Faculty and staff interested in using the Libraries' course reserves services should contact reserve@drexel.edu for assistance.

  • Interlibrary loan: We are still working out the details of interlibrary loan services to Elkins Park Campus Library. We are not yet shipping interlibrary loan print materials to Elkins Park; however, all faculty, staff, and students based at Elkins Park may request e-resources or make a request to pick up print materials at the W. W. Hagerty Library. Visit our website for instructions on submitting interlibrary loan requests.
  • New loan periods: We are standardizing loan periods for print materials at both library locations. Going forward, faculty and staff may borrow print materials for six months at a time! Visit our website for a complete list of loan and renewal information.

Please note that we are also working with Drexel IT to load student records into our library systems. Once student accounts have been loaded into Drexel systems, students enrolled in programs based at the Elkins Park Campus will have full access to all Drexel Libraries resources, including access to online resources and access to the W. W. Hagerty Library in University City.

We anticipate students will have access to Drexel Libraries resources by August 18 and the start of the fall semester. We will continue to post updates on our website and please check back for more information.
