The Libraries recently purchased several new books to help Drexel students, faculty and staff with their writing and presentations.

“Library as place” continues to be core to the classic professional definition of a library. In the April/May Dean’s Update, Dean Nitecki talks about the Drexel Libraries’ built spaces and how they support intentional informal learning, offering environments where learners take ownership of what and how they learn.

Drexel student Angela Graff, a pre-junior majoring in Global Studies, who was hired as the Drexel Libraries' first undergraduate research co-op to support the Dean of Libraries with a long-term research project focusing on how to identify and disseminate research results on the relationship of built, informal learning environments and learning.

2022 marks the 10th anniversary of Celebrating Drexel Authors, an event launched in 2013 in partnership with the Office of the Provost to show institutional appreciation of Drexel authors and their published contributions to scholarship and creative expression.
