Campus has been buzzing with activity ever since first-year resident, commuter and transfer students arrived for Welcome Week (Drexel’s new student orientation event), held September 13 - 22, 2019.
This year, Drexel’s Welcome Week consisted of 250 events, all held over the course of the 10 days. These orientation events offer new students extra time on campus to relax and explore before the frenzy of classes.
Once again, the Drexel Libraries eagerly participated in the festivities, hosting its own open houses and participating in campus resource fairs with the goal of helping students familiarize themselves with the Libraries’ resources, services and learning environments so they’re prepared to tackle their course work from the start.

New Dragons explored the W. W. Hagerty Library during Welcome Week. They had the opportunity to speak with Libraries staff in person, play a Libraries-themed trivia game and learn about Libraries resources, services and learning environments.
