Photo Essay: Drexel Libraries Renovates 1st Floor of W. W. Hagerty Library

In September 2019, the Drexel Libraries replaced furnishings on the first floor of the W. W. Hagerty Library. Two USGA student officers—Blake Brown and Cat Gotsiridze—spearheaded the redesign proposal, which they developed based on student feedback gathered through surveys and small focus groups.

The students worked closely with Danuta A. Nitecki, Dean of Libraries; Ann Yurcaba, the Libraries’ Administrative Services Director; and Gail Holmes, Director of Interiors, Planning, Design and Construction from University Facilities, to finalize the plans. Capital funds already authorized for Library renovations funded the project.

Stay tuned for details about an informal reception to recognize the collaborative hard work and support from USGA!
