Printing Panic April 14, 2011 The Dragon Card machine needs to be fixed so I can print for 10 cents and not 25. Also, the copiers should be fixed. Thanks! Thanks for letting us know. When copiers, cards readers, etc. are broken, we jump into action to get them fixed as soon as someone alerts us to the problem. On the day you wrote, our Dragon Card machine was out of service for about 15 minutes while we worked to pry out a card that was stuck inside.* When printing is effected by a technical difficulty, the circulation desk will only charge you 10 cents per page, instead of their usual 25 cents. With respect to the copiers, I'm sorry they were out of service. If you see something that's not working properly, and there's no sign attached saying that we're working on the problem, please alert a staff member so we can get started fixing what's broken. We can fix most printer, copier, and scanner problems in just a few minutes. * The Dragon Card was stuck in the machine because it was falling apart. If you have a Dragon Card that isn't working properly, it might be time for you to get a new one. I know it's not cheap, but it'll save you (and others) big headaches.
