As manager of Access Experiences, Katherine provides managerial leadership for the Access Services program and coordinates operations across all Libraries' locations to anticipate user needs and proactively shape the user experience. She engages staff, as well as other library managers, in implementing quality improvement of user experiences by utilizing data and insights about client behaviors, perceptions, and expectations related to using the Libraries on-site resources, access services, and staffed services interactions.
Katherine started at Drexel Libraries as a circulation clerk at Hahnemann Health Sciences Library in 2005. She then became the Access Services Librarian at Hahnemann where she was responsible for managing the circulation desk and related access services functions. She became Librarian for Reserves for Drexel Libraries in 2014 and the Manager of Access Experiences in 2015. She holds a BA in Economics from St.Mary's College of Maryland and a MSLIS from Drexel University.
