Give Credit!

When you are using others' ideas and words, you must give them credit. You do this by citing your sources. Need to learn how to do this? This handy online Citation Style Guide can help you figure out how to cite online and print resources.

Does every little factoid need to be credited? Not necessarily. If the fact is common knowledge, then you don't have to give credit. For example, the fact that Cuba is 90 miles from the United States' shore is generally considered common knowledge. Confused? When in doubt, give credit.
