As Acting Director of Drexel University’s Health Sciences Libraries, Linda is responsible for the administration, direction, and evaluation of the resources, programs, and services of Hahnemann Library and Queen Lane Library. These libraries serve the College of Medicine, College of Nursing and Health Professions, and the School of Public Health. Linda is a member of the Libraries’ Strategic Leadership Group and Managerial Leadership Group. She has served the Health Sciences Libraries for twenty-five years; her most recent previous position was that of Associate Director.
Linda recently completed two terms as Editor-in-Chief of the Medical Library Association’s (MLA’s) MLA News, and is currently on the Editorial Board of the Journal of the Medical Library Association. She has held leadership positions in MLA and its Philadelphia Regional Chapter. She received an MLA President’s Award in 2011, and has received a number of awards from the Philadelphia Regional Chapter. Linda is a Distinguished Member of MLA’s Academy of Health Information Professionals. She is also a member of the Association of Academic Health Sciences Libraries. She received her master’s degree in library and information science from Columbia University.
