DragonPrint
What is DragonPrint?
It is the Libraries' self-service, networked printing solution. DragonPrint uses the patron's DragonCard to pay for printing.
How Does DragonPrint Work?
- All public workstations in the Libraries have been configured to send print jobs to the DragonPrint stations. DragonCard holders have a printing account accessible through their Drexel ID card.
- The user gives the job a name, sends what he\she wants to print to the station, and then retrieves it.
How can I add value to my DragonCard?
Value can be added by going to these locations:
- Hagerty Library, 1st floor.
- Hahnemann Library, 24-hour room, 2nd floor.
- Queen Lane Library, Copy room
OR:
- DragonCard offices in Creese Center.
- Suite 1608 in the New College Building.
- Room 101 at Queen Lane.
Who Can Use DragonPrint?
Anyone. The public, alumni, students of other universities -- in short, everyone. Drexel students, faculty, and staff can use their DragonCard printing account. Patrons without a DragonCard can submit their jobs, go to the Circulation desk, pay for the number of pages, and then pick them up at the DragonPrint station.
How much does DragonPrint cost?
BLACK & WHITE: $.10 per page; $.25 per page for non-DragonCard users at Hagerty Library only.
COLOR: $.25 per page (Hahnemann and Queen Lane only)
DUPLEX: (Hahnemann and Queen Lane only)
BLACK & WHITE: $.10 for first page, $.06 for second page
COLOR: $.25 for first page, $.15 for second page
What happens if I don't have my DragonCard?
Drexel students or other affiliated people who don't have their DragonCards can get their print jobs by going to the Circulation Desk, paying in cash for their printouts, and then picking them up at the DragonPrint stations. At Hagerty Library only, cost is $.25 per page for non-DragonCard users.
